Warwick City Employee- Charged With Domestic Abuse- Ordered to Undergo Batterer's Prevention Counseling and Pay Restitution
Update on Warwick City DPW employee --CAMERON WHITTAKER who has been arrested twice this year on DOMESTIC ABUSE charges. The most recent arrest occurred after Whittaker reportedly lured his ex- girlfriend to meet him by telling her their dog had been hit by a car.
CAMERON WHITTAKER was arrested on domestic abuse charges both in the city of Warwick on 6/10/2107 and the city of Coventry on 4/12/2017. Whittaker was charged with domestic vandalism & malicious injury to property.
Whittaker's aunt is the former Director of Personnel for the city of Warwick that recently retired.
Mayor Avedisian's good friend and prosecutor for the city of Warwick, Kerry Rafanelli, cut a plea agreement deal with Whittaker's attorney and dismissed Whittaker's domestic abuse charge on a 48(A)-- pending he pay restitution and undergo batterer's prevention counseling.
