Warwick City Council Asks The State To Have RIAC Pay Warwick $900,000 More Per Year For Lost Property Tax Revenue
Tonight, the Warwick City Council approved (everyone but Rix, he was sick) a resolution that will be sent to the General Assembly for approval. The Council is asking that RIAC pay the city of Warwick $1,400,000 ($900,000 increase) per year, to make up for all of the property T.F. Green Airport acquired from the City of Warwick for airport expansion and other airport services. The resolution was also amended to included RIAC vendors as well.
