Council members that voted on our amended budget (spending cuts made to budget)--- was a 7-2 vote and the two city council members that voted "NO" to the savings were:
Then listen to to how the entire city council voted on the amended budget, click here. Remember, each one of them knew that by voting against the amended budget, the original budget the Mayor proposed would stay as is, before any cuts were made (amended budget).
How City Council Members voted on the Amended Budget:

In Mayor Avedisian's back pocket... the fix has always been in:
As I have observed and learned more about the city of Warwick's operations, it has become quite clear to me that those who do truly cast their honorable vote (1-3 council members), will always be outnumbered by those who serve public office solely to perpetuate a false and deceiving agenda led by Mayor Scott Avedisian.
These individuals, in my opinion, are working only in the best interests of the Mayor, and not the people.
The "Fix" List:
We can only hope that the individuals who end up filling the seats of council members Vella-Wilkinson, Chadronet, and Usler will be casting votes that have the taxpayer's best interests front and center, first and foremost, always.
Additionally, Mayor Scott Avedisian negotiated union contracts last year. Our City Council voted on those contracts, without having been presented the contracts and their contents prior to their vote. This never should have happened. It defeated the entire purpose of having a City Council to begin with. It was yet another deceptive and malicious maneuver by Mayor Scott Avedisian to pass through more unscrupulous and dishonorable self promoting deals. In the end, it's always the taxpayers getting beat down as their pockets get picked for more and more.
The (majority) of the City Council members, along with the Mayor, have continuously re-appointed heads of the Warwick Sewer Authority that do nothing but continue to financially mismanage the entire Sewer Authority operation and in return, extort SA rate payers for more and more.
Our budget is not a fixed one. Mayor Scott Avedisian has, and continues to, move money around in our budget as he deems necessary.
The city of Warwick is in major financial dire straits.
Opening Mayor Scott Avedisian's cooked books to the feds has revealed the City of Warwick is $300 million dollars in the red. Members of the City Retirement Board are intentionally misleading our active city workers and retirees into believing their pensions and healthcare liabilities are secure and stable when they are anything but. The City of Warwick Municipal Retirement Plan is anything but well managed. In my opinion, it is intentionally manipulative, deceiving and quite frankly, corrupt.
Mayor Scott Avedisian has cooked the City books for years and has negotiated reckless union contracts that extort Warwick taxpayers for egregious amounts of money.
I believe the City of Warwick needs to be federally investigated as was the case in San Diego, CA. The United States Securities and Exchange Commission needs to pay a visit to the City of Warwick, it's long overdue.
