Well it looks like Warwick's Director of Finance -Ernest Zmyslinski has had enough of cooking the books in Warwick for the Mayor, so he's going to collect a sweet $100K + pension and head on over to the city of West Warwick to start working on that second pension.
Providence Business news actually did a piece on Zymslinski titled, "Finding creative solutions to mounting fiscal issues" back in 2013, also going on to say in the story that, "Warwick Finance Director Ernest Zmyslinski has helped Rhode Island’s second-largest city weather some difficult fiscal times through creativity, diligence and artful negotiations."
Oh, he most certainly has...mounting city debt and escalating us further into the red.
More of that to come, stay tuned.
Zymslinski will join former Warwick city employee and long time Planning Director who then became "Co-Chief of Staff (pension payment booster)-- Mark Carruolo, who also skipped on over to West Warwick to start working on his second pension a few years back. Carruolo is also a member of the state's retirement board.
Good luck West Warwick!!! Another city on the brink of bankruptcy...
Other former Warwick City Employees that also retired and have started working on their second pensions are:
Must be nice, right? The good ole Rhody way...
