A Dog Left Out in the Cold Rain and Cats Left in Unsanitary Conditions. The Latest Violations Issued..
On 1/30/2018, Warwick Animal control responded to a property owned by Michael Zincone. Zincone stated he and other renters had not seen this particular tenant Michelle Correira, in about a week. He observed a cat in the window and feces all over the floors. Two cats were found left inside the house with no electricity or heat surrounded by urine and feces. A Sergeant was also called to the scene to take photos. There was also no food left for the two cats, both unaltered, a male "Sammy" and a female, "Ender".
The individual who eventually ended up claiming ownership of the cats was reported to be Justine Sansonese.
Sansonese was fined $200 and issued a 1st-offense Violation: "Mimimum Care/Owner to maintain sanitary environment".
On 1/23/2018, Animal Control responded to the residence owned by Jeffrey HEIL, (JEFFREY E SCHEFFLER HEIL) for reports of a large black/brown lab mix dog by the name of "Abby" that had been left outside on a porch in the pouring rain all day. The Abby was found soaking wet and had no access to shelter from the wind driven rain Abby also had no water to drink.
Heil was fined $100 and issued a 1st-offense Violation: "Shelter, tether, nourishment over 30 minutes".
